Fastest, or with the Deutschlandticket only

What the app does

  • Your ride, live

    Your ride, live

Start a ride and your train is on the map. Platform, countdown and delay sit on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island; a reminder comes before you get off and before every change.

  • Changes without searching

    Changes without searching

From platform to platform: the walk on the map – in 3D too, with the platforms on their levels and the way over stairs and lifts.

  • Every vehicle on the map

    Every vehicle on the map

Buses, trams and trains move on the map in real time: in the Netherlands from open real-time data, in Germany worked out from the timetable and the delays. Departures at every stop.

  • Fastest, or with the Deutschlandticket only

Both journeys side by side. Where a leg needs another ticket – an ICE, say – the app tells you before you set off.

  • Delays and platform changes in real time

Delays, cancellations and, where the data has them, platform changes as soon as they are known – for every leg of your journey.

  • No account, no ads, no tracking

Everything works without signing in. A free account (Apple or e-mail) keeps your home, work and saved journeys on all your devices.

Questions and answers

What does the app cost?

Nothing. The app is free, with no ads and no in-app purchases.

Which countries does it cover?

Journeys in Germany and the Netherlands, also between the two. The live map shows vehicles in many more European countries.

Can it show connections for the Deutschlandticket only?

Yes. Next to the fastest journey the app shows the best one using only local and regional transport, which the Deutschlandticket covers, and marks every leg that needs another ticket.

Do I need an account?

No. Everything works without signing in. With a free account (Apple or e-mail) your settings and saved journeys follow you to your other devices.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. The iPhone comes first; an Android version is planned.

Where does the data come from?

From the official open timetables – DELFI for Germany, OVapi for the Netherlands – and the real-time feeds of the operators. The map and the walking routes come from OpenStreetMap. Times, platforms and ticket information are without guarantee.
