La Région Grand Est, qui est l'autorité organisatrice (AO) de la RDTA, et possède la compétence transport. L'AO valide les inscriptions aux cartes scolaires et confie à la RDTA des circuits de transports scolaires en véhicule légers, pour des transports d'élèves isolés ou éloignés d'un arrêt de car. Les transports se font du point d'arrêt du réseau FLUO 08 existant au sein de la commune de domiciliation de l'élève transporté vers l'établissement scolaire.
